Who will be our DJ if I decide to book an event ?
A professional DJ with many years of experience and occasionally an experienced MC will assist for large events.
Can we see you perform at one of your events ?
We're sorry, but no. The event is not ours to invite you. We would have to ask the customer if we can bring strangers to their event. Doing this puts us in an awkward position. We respect the privacy of our customers, as we would do the same for you. We would be happy to provide you with a list of great references.
Do You have a music CD demo that we can hear ?
It would not make any sense to provide you with a demo CD, because each individuals taste is different, each event is designed according to the persons taste in music. If we provide you with a CD containing Top 40 mixes, you may be more of a Disco, Rock, Hip-Hop, or Oldies type of person.
Can you send us a music list ?
We can send you a list, but it would contain over 10,000 songs. We can suggest some appropriate songs based upon your selections, but we would need to gather your input before making suggestions or constructing a list. "New York's Best DJ" plays what you want, and does not play what you don't want.
Do you allow us (the customer) to choose the music ?
Yes, it is preferred that you select part or all of the music that suits your taste. Also, we understand the type of music you and your guests will want, from experience from numerous events. It would be to your advantage to let us choose part of the music as well.
Do you have back up equipment and bring it to every event ?
Yes, we bring enough components to make sure if one critical item goes out, it has back up. The equipment used is a digital, state-of-the-art, professional setup. (We do not use IPODS).
Do you have insurance ?
Yes, almost all venues require that all entertainers / vendors, have their own Liability Insurance. We are fully Insured, and will provide a copy of the policy to the venue upon request.
Can we meet in person ?
Yes, of course! It is preferred to communicate through E-Mails or over the phone at first.
How can I reserve your services ?
After we have discussed your needs through E-Mail, phone conversations or meetings, we will give you a price quote specific to your event. Then it's a simple matter of returning a signed contract with a 10% deposit.
